We’re excited to announce that EcoWater SoCal is officially sponsoring Steven Luecht Racing for the 2025 season. Steven is a third-generation driver who’s quickly making a name for himself in the Southern
California racing scene. After finishing the 2024 season at Barona Speedway with five straight main event wins, he’s opened 2025 with two more victories, including a come-from-behind win after starting in 8th. His performance is backed by discipline, consistency, and the kind of work ethic that reflects our own values here at EcoWater.
Steven’s path started at just three years old in the garage with his dad and grandfather, eventually building his first mini dwarf car at age ten. After returning to racing in 2018, he found his home in the Sport Mod division—teaming up with M.A.R Motorsports in 2023 and winning the Barona Speedway Track Championship that same year. He also finished Top 10 at the 2025 IMCA Winter Nationals in Central Arizona, qualifying for 7 of 8 main events out of nearly 80 drivers.
